Central City Series Round 2
Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th May 2007 (VACC Park)
After a tough previous two meets Dylan returned to scene of his first ever kart race VACC Park for the second round of the Central City Series.
Unfortunately having drawn a mid-pack starting position for both heats Dylan was caught up in major mid-pack incidents that cleaned up large portions of the field. While he came away unharmed and the kart did not suffer any major damage, the three DNF’s meant a start in 32nd position out of 36 karts for the final.
The final was yet again the scene of a major accident when one of the karts was flipped. This incident and injury to the diver forced the red flagging of the race, with Dylan at the time knocking on the door of the top 20 but was suffering from a slightly bent axle that would have forced his retirement if not for the red flag.
